LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigerian Police Force, NPF has released former Chairman of the Lagos State branch of the National Union Of Road Transport Workers, (NURTW), Alhaji Rafiu Akanni Olohunwa who was paraded on February 16, 2018 for assassination of former Chairman of Idumota branch of the NURTW, Mr. Azeez Adekunle Lawal alias ‘Kunle Poly’ in Lagos Island.

He was welcome by supporters and jubilant crowd in his home after spending almost one month in police cell. His supporters posted these photographs on Facebook. Kunle Poly was killed at Idumota on 23rd January, 2018. The millionaire who was paraded by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Imohimi Edgal told reporters that he knew nothing about the N1.5 million he allegedly voted to eliminate Kunle Poly.
Others paraded with him was his alleged henchman, Adeola Williams alias Ade Lawyer who confessed to some killings apart from causing the death of Ganiyu Ayinla, a personal assistant to Kunle Poly at No 1 John Street, Idumota, Lagos.
A self-confessed serial killer, Adeola Williams aka Ade Lawyer, confessed to several killings recently and says they were on the orders of a former Chairman of National Union Road of Transport Workers, Lagos State branch, Alhaji Akani Olorunwa. Olohunwa has denied the allegations.
Ade Lawyer, 39 and 51-year-old Olorunwa were paraded on Friday, February 16, 2018 at the Lagos State Police Command headquarters in Ikeja
