LAGOS, Nigeria – Publisher of Newswatch Newspapers, Newswatch Magazine and Daily Mirror, Mr. Jimoh Ibrahim is on his way to Dubai with Editors of now defunct Newswatch Newspapers, Newswatch Magazine and National Mirror for his annual leadership conference.
It has been the tradition of Jimoh Ibrahim to take editors of the titles and other top executives of subsidiaries like Global Fleet to Dubai where they are tutored by Jimoh Ibrahim, who prides himself dearly as a Harvard scholar.
They editors who have been out of duty for months will spend not less than one week in Dubai. All the titles, Newswatch newspaper, Newswatch magazine and National Mirror have been off the newstand for more than a year.
Some of the titles are however live online. We gathered that the conference is preparatory to reappearance of the newspapers on the news stand.
