Nigeria, June 9 , 2016 – Ikeja, the capital of Lagos is developing filth that has defaced the landscape and threatening to decimate the perception it has been noted for as a clean capital of Lagos.
PLASTIC CANS ADDING FILTH TO THE HEART OF LAGOS MEGACITY
These days, it is now routine to find empty plastic cans starched in drainage channels in Ikeja as you move around the area.
More notorious for the capital is Olowu junction, where our correspondent encountered this huge load of plastic cans starched in the channels almost spilling into the major road.
We gathered that the filth has been there for a while with nobody to clear the channels even on Thursday, usually used as sanitation for traders in Lagos.
