South Africa, April 7, 2016 – Ex-wife of late former President of South Africa, Winnie Nelson Mandela today lost in her quest to inherit Mandela’s house in Qunu village.
WINNIE LOSSES BID TO GRAB MANDELA’S PROPERTIES

She had through her counsel argued in the case she instituted in 2014 that the house where Mandela spent much of his time in 2013 ought to be her property under customary law in South Africa.
But the SA High Court according to BBC dismissed Winnie Madikizela-Mandela’s application and ordered her to pay all legal costs.
Mandela had bequeathed the property in question to his family before he died.
The former South African President divorced Ms Madikizela-Mandela in 1996 after 38-year of marriage, and left her out of his will.
Mandela divorced Winnie for having extra-marital affairs with men. Among his lovers was Dali Mpofu, a lawyer, who is about 30 years her junior and a member of her defense team.
She is reported to have carried on with the affair even after Mandela left prison.
