January 24, 2016 – Not less than 18 people have lost their lives as strange but powerful blizzard hit the Unites States on Saturday. At least 20 states were affected, as business activities were paralyzed from Georgia to Massachusetts.
The level of devastation n of the snowfall was said to have surpassed forecasts, forcing mayors and governors to declare that many businesses will remain shut until next week.
“We are going into uncharted territory here”, Governor Andrew Cuomo said of the blizzard, adding that the heart of the blizzard with accompanying flood hit his state.
Reports say the storm was very severe, reducing visibility in most of the affected state.
