July 17, 2015 – Governor Henry Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State has enjoined Moslem faithfuls in the country to continue to live in peace with the adherents of other religions, noting that all religions are one and important, as his administration will continue to give equal recognition to all of them.

The Governor, who gave the advise in his sallah message, expressed appreciation to the moslem community in the State for their prayers, encouragement and support.

While, congratulating them for observing and completing their mandatory Ramadan fast, Governor Dickson encouraged them to see Bayelsa State as home, do their businesses and live peacefully, advising them to work with all security agencies in the state to ensure the sustenance of already existing peace in the State.
