It was a classic, high-octane Anfield night packed with glamour, goals, and blistering individual displays. Liverpool swept Tottenham Hotspur aside with a commanding 3-1 victory to march into the fourth round of the EFL Cup, leaving Spurs searching for answers after another frustrating outing on Merseyside.
From the opening whistle, Liverpool’s marquee stars set a tempo that Tottenham simply could not contain. World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister was the maestro in central midfield, dictating the tempo with laser-focused passing and relentless energy.
