ABUJA, Nigeria – Nollywood beauty Regina Daniels has unleashed a devastating public attack on her billionaire husband, Nigerian Senator Ned Nwoko, claiming he has used his immense power to “cripple” her and that she now faces being “locked up and raped in the house” unless she submits to him.
The sensational allegations were made in an extraordinary, desperate plea posted to social media late yesterday, where the 25-year-old star claimed her brother was arrested simply for defending her from alleged domestic violence.
In a horrifying message, Daniels—who married the 65-year-old politician and businessman as his sixth wife in 2019—painted a picture of a woman losing a battle against overwhelming wealth and influence.
“I give up, what was my brother’s offence?
Fighting for his baby sister because his in-law would always beat her up?” she wrote, directly accusing the Senator of abuse that prompted the intervention of her sibling.
The ‘Zombie’ Claim
The star, who has millions of social media followers, alleged that her brother, Sammy West, is being held without a “tangible case” against him and that his freedom hinges on her complete capitulation to her husband.
She added, chillingly, that she is ready to be returned as a prisoner:
“Now I am crippled, I will return if that is the only way to do whatever he says, get injected to be like a zombie, get locked up and raped in the house.”
Daniels then turned her fury directly onto the nation’s law enforcement, alleging corruption at the highest level: “I actually accorded the Nigerian police some respect but shame on you all. It is obvious the highest bidder always wins”.
The most scathing line of the young actress’s outburst was aimed squarely at the monumental status of the Senator: “Ned Nwoko is bigger than the whole of Nigeria, that is what this means. We lost or rather, I lost.”
The controversial marriage between the teenage Nollywood sensation and the powerful Delta State politician made global headlines four years ago due to their significant age gap.
Senator Ned Nwoko, reportedly a billionaire businessman, is a lawyer and philanthropist known for his immense wealth and political clout.
Regina Daniels’ brother, Sammy West, is known to be very close to the actress and has appeared in several Nollywood productions himself.
The immediate trigger for the outburst appears to be Sammy West’s alleged arrest, which Regina Daniels claims was a direct result of him trying to protect her from alleged beatings by her powerful husband.
The Senator’s camp and the Nigerian police have yet to comment on the explosive claims of corruption, police misconduct, and alleged domestic violence.
