Celebration across Arab world as Netanyahu announces ceasefire deal

TEL AVIV, Israel – There is celebration in Gaza, Yemen and other countries in the Arab world as Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu announces ceasefire deal in Gaza.

He announced that an agreement has been reached with Hamas for the release of Israeli hostages in Gaza.

On the ceasefire, Hamas said the agreement for ceasefire will come into effect next Sunday, January 19th.

“The Gaza agreement includes a six-week ceasefire, Israeli withdrawal from central Gaza, the return of displaced Palestinians, and daily aid shipments, including 50 fuel trucks for northern Gaza.

“The number of Palestinian detainees to be released is contingent on the number of hostages freed, with estimates ranging between 990 and 1,650, comprising men, women, and children.

Hamas has agreed to release 33 Israeli captives, while Israel will free 30 Palestinian detainees for every civilian and 50 for every female soldier released.

Meanwhile, there have been reactions across the world.

Ansarallah Commander Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr El-Din Al-Houthi said the announcement of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza is a significant development.

According to him, the “israeli” enemy, along with its American backer, was compelled to agree after months of heinous crimes against the Palestinian people. Committing more than 4,050 massacres, targeting all segments of the population and systematically destroying healthcare infrastructure by bombing hospitals and denying food supplies.

“Steadfastness in Gaza: Over the past 15 months, Gaza has presented two images: immense suffering, extending for over a century, and unparalleled steadfastness. The steadfastness of the Palestinian people and the resistance fighters, including the Al-Qassam Brigades, Saraya Al-Quds, and other factions, under harsh conditions and limited resources, represents a remarkable achievement.

“Support Fronts: Alongside Palestinian steadfastness, support fronts emerged across various arenas.

“Hezbollah made the greatest sacrifices in supporting Gaza, contributing far more than any other entity or nation. Its role was pivotal in forming a strong and influential front against the “israeli” enemy, even escalating to a comprehensive war. Under the leadership of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, may God be pleased with him, Hezbollah sacrificed many leaders, cadres, and members of its popular base, playing a critical role in the battle against the zionist enemy.

“The Iraqi front made a commendable contribution in supporting the Palestinian people.

“Yemeni Support for Gaza: Yemen’s stance was not limited to political and media support but extended militarily to the utmost of what was possible. Our military operations to support Gaza included 1,255 operations utilizing ballistic, cruise, and hypersonic missiles, drones, and naval vessels.

“Despite economic challenges, our people stood steadfast, offering 106 martyrs and 328 wounded in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

“Impact of Yemeni Operations: Yemeni operations disrupted “israeli” economic activities and affected the port of Umm al-Rashrash, halting significant revenues and impacting tourism in the city, which now lives in fear and anxiety. Yemeni strikes also disrupted flights to “Ben Gurion Airport” and caused several airlines to suspend operations.

“Divine Promise: There is a divine promise of the demise of the criminal “israeli” entity, a promise that will not fail or change. Despite the enemy’s attempts to isolate the Palestinian people and escalate normalization campaigns, they will fail.

“Arab and International Responsibility: Arab betrayal and complicity with the zionist project have worsened the suffering of the Palestinian people. There is a responsibility on the international community to hold zionist criminals accountable. Failing to do so is a disgrace, and those complicit in the aggression bear a heavy burden in this world and the hereafter”, he said.

Ansarallah Commander Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr El-Din Al-Houthi commended the steadfastness of the Yemeni People.

According to him, the Yemeni people demonstrated immense steadfastness and faith through their actions.

According to him, the million-man march tomorrow crowns 15 months of unwavering demonstrations and activities, totaling over 900,000 events, including rallies, marches, and educational sessions.

He said Yemen will continue to prepare for future rounds to support the Palestinian people, aiming for greater effectiveness and impact. We will confront any retaliatory attempts by “israel”, the U.S., or their allies.

According to him, the “israeli” enemy, with its zionist project, poses a threat to the entire nation, driven by expansionist ambitions. Without Gaza’s steadfastness, the enemy would have expanded into other Arab countries and achieved its goals.

On American and “israeli” Aggression, he said the Americans and “israelis”, along with the British, share the same agenda of aggression against the region.

“The U.S. sought to isolate the Palestinian people while providing military and technological support to “israel”. Despite their efforts, they failed to deter Yemeni support or protect “israeli” shipping routes.

He described the Yemeni stance is rooted in faith and sincerity, standing firm against global pressures.

“Even if all the world united against us, we would not retreat, for we rely on God’s support, which suffices us.

He said the massive turnout planned for tomorrow reaffirms Yemen’s steadfast commitment to the Palestinian cause and will send a powerful message of solidarity to the world.

He said Yemen’s commitment to the Palestinian cause remains unwavering.

“We will continue to stand with the Palestinian people until Palestine is liberated and the “israeli” occupation ends”, he said.
