January , 2015 – The Broadcasting Service of Ekiti State (BSES ) has alleged that immediate past Governor of the State, Dr Kayode Fayemi and other chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State are yet to pay over N35 million debt owed the broadcast station.

In a statement, the Ayodele Fayose organisation said the over N30 million was incurred from adverts placed on the Ekiti Television and Radio during Fayemi’s re-election campaign.
According to the group, the sum of N23. 2m is outstanding from Fayemi’s campaign jingles and musicals while the rest are for sponsored programme by party chieftains.

2. Igba Otun by Anthony Ayikeke that was co sponsored by Deji Adesokan(Jaru) & Yemi Adaramodu – N540,000.00(TV), N120,000.00 (Radio)
3. Abomire by Olaegbon, sponsored by Hon Bimbo Daramola – N330,000.00
4. Oyinmomo (TV) by Lasisi Adeyemi. N759,000.00
5. Aye Oniyo by Dele Ojo – N104,000.00
6. ERO by Lasisi Adeyemi, sponsored by Senator Babafemi Ojudu – N380,000.00
7. Ajose Wa Ntesiwaju by Akanbi Taibat, sponsored by Yemi Adaramodu – N1,442,307.00
8. Ibi Abase De by Tola Popoola sponsored by Hon Sunday Adumo (Galaxy) – N300,000.00
9. Ebute Ayo by Soji Anibaba, sponsored by Hon. Faparusi (Fappy) – N58,072.00

The group said that BSES is about to be grounded because there is no money to run the stations.
