Trump appoints Doug Burgum as Interior Secretary, chairman National Energy Council

FLORIDA – President-elect of the United States, Mr. Donald J Trump has nominated the governor of North Dakota, Mr. Doug Burgum as interior Secretary and Chairman National Energy Council.
In a statement, Trump said the council will be made up of all agencies involved in the permitting, production, generation and distribution, regulation and transportation of all forms of American energy.
” This council will oversee the path that will lead to U.S dominance in the energy sector by cutting red tape, enhancing private sector investment across all sectors of the economy by focusing on innovation over long standing but totally unnecessary regulation”.
Trump said that with U.S energy dominance, ” we will drive down inflation, win the A.I arms race with China and others and expand American diplomatic power, to end wars all across the world”.
He said the radical left war on American Energy has hurt allies, forcing them to buy from adversaries who in turn use those profit to fund wars and terror.
He said U.S energy dominance will allow the U.S to sell energy to friends, including all European nations, which will make the world a safer place.
He said that as Chairman, Doug will have seat on the National Security Council.
He said that as Interior Secretary, Doug will be a key leader in ushering in a new golden age of American prosperity and world peace.
Besides, Trump said the Biden-Haris administration has driven national debt to a record of $36 trillion.
This notwithstanding, he said America remains blessed with vast amount of liquid gold, and other valuable mineral resources.
He said his government will undo the damage done by Democrats to the nation’s electrical grid by dramatically increasing baseload power and reduce the cost of electricity which has skyrocketed.
