77 killed in Israeli strikes in Beit Lahiya updated

GAZA, Palestine – The Israeli Defence Forces, IDF has intensified attacks on the Gaza Strip overnight, killing at least 77 civilians, among them 25 children in Beit Lahiya.

One of the buildings that came under Israeli attacks was a five storey building belonging to the Abu Nassr clan.

Eye witnesses say most of those killed in the attacks were members of the Abu Nassr Clan.

Many of the residents are still missing at the time of filing the report.

Meanwhile, Director of Ministry of Health in Gaza has told Al-Jazeera that the occupation is targeting hospitals in the northern part of the Strip to prevent residents from remaining steadfast in their neighborhoods.

“The occupation is firing on ambulance and civil defense vehicles in the northern part of the Strip.

“The world must act to stop the genocide being committed by Israel in the northern part of the Strip.

“Our capabilities in the northern part of the Strip only allow us to provide first aid”, the Director said in a statement
