Hamas to mediators: No prisoner will return until there is ceasefire in Gaza

GAZA, Palestine – The Palestinian Resistant Movement, Hamas has issued a statement as US secretary of state, Antony Blinken kick off second round of talk in Qatar.

In a statement, a Senior Hamas Leader, Osama Hamdan said a delegation of Hamas has advanced to Egypt to listen to proposals but insisted that no prisoner held by Hamas will return until there is ceasefire in Gaza and the IDF withdraws completely from the Gaza Strip.

“Mediators provided information to the Hamas delegation. to bring the talks back to life, but the Hamas delegation begins with constant motion.”A delegation from Hamas travelled to Cairo to hear the suggestions put out, but Hamas’ stance remained unchanged.

“No prisoners detained by Hamas will return until the aggression is halted and they have fully withdrawn”, he said.
