GAZA, Palestine – The Palestinian Resistant Movement, Hamas has said it neither changed its demand for ceasefire in the Gaza Strip nor did it put forward any new demands as President Joe Biden and White House National Security and Communication Adviser, John Kirby are making Americans to believe.
“Our condition for ceasefire remains Biden’s proposal on July 2”, Hamas said.
In a statement, a member of Hamas Political Bureau, Izzat Al-Rishq said Kirby’s allegations that Hamas is the main obstacle to reaching a ceasefire is a blatant alignment with the “israeli” position.
According to him, the Biden administration, which has failed to put pressure the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, now considers that blaming Hamas is less costly in light of the imminent US elections.
“The world knows that Netanyahu is the one who added new conditions and demands, not Hamas. What the occupation and American sources are promoting about new demands for Hamas is a lie and an attempt to evade their responsibility and previous obligations, and Netanyahu’s new conditions cannot be considered a starting point for negotiations.
“ We did not add any new demands after we agreed to Biden’s proposal on July 2, and Washington announces new proposals whenever it fails to oblige Netanyahu to what was agreed upon”, the spokesman said.
