Yemeni Armed Forces down US MQ-9 drone

YEMEN – The Yemini Armed Forces, YAF has confirmed downing another United States MQ-9 Surveillance and attack drone in its airspace.
In a statement, the YAF said it downed the MQ-9 drone when it was hovering in the airspace of Ma’rib Governorate.

This attack makes it the 8th MQ-9 drone to have been brought down by the YAF since October 7th attack when Israel launched full scale war on the Gaza Strip following attack by the Palestinian Resistant Movement, Hamas, which led to the death of 1200 Israelis.
The Yeminis have said attacks on drones and ships linked to Israel and its allies will continue until there is ceasefire in Gaza.
Their attacks on ships in the Gulf of Aden, Red Sea and the Indian Ocean prompted the United States to mobilize warships to the axis which has hit several targets in Yemen.
