Chukwuemeka Obioma not Esperance player, says rep

LAGOS – Nigerian league hotshot Chukwuemeka Obioma is not an Esperance player, contrary to reports going on in the media at the moment. 

Recent reports said the striker is in Tunisia to conclude a deal with the Tunisian giants Esperance but his legal representatives Activity Chambers has refuted the claim.

According to Samuel Ogbah, spokesperson and General Manager of Activity Chambers, the hotshot is still in Nigeria, though he will soon leave the country as there have been positive talks with a host of clubs.

 ‘Since the news broke that Obioma has terminated his contract with Enyimba, we have heard and read many things. Some are true, while many are far from the truth.

As of this moment, the truth is that Obioma has not signed for any foreign club and he is in Nigeria. But talks are progressing with a host of clubs, including Esperance.

Obioma is the hottest property in Nigerian football but we are being careful to ensure he makes the right move’, concluded Ogbah.
