180 Anambra APC delegates to vote at National Convention on Saturday

ONITSHA, Anambra, Nigeria – Not less than 180 delegates from Anambra state chapter of All Progressive Congress APC are expected to attend and vote at the party national convention in Abuja on Saturday.
This was disclosed by the state party’s chairman Chief Basil Ejidike shortly after the inauguration of the new state, zonal and local government executive committee of the party at the APC’s secretariat ,Awka Anambra state on Wednesday.
According to him, APC has all it takes to achieve greater success in the state and called on the new executives to double efforts to achieve victory at the forthcoming general elections.
He called on the new executives to accept and discharge their daunting tasks ahead of them with equanimity and true senses of responsibility to enable the party to move to a greater level for the good of Anambra state and Nigeria.
Ejidike said that their call to serve the state party was a divine one that must be taken serious, noting that to whom much is given, a lot more is expected of him.
“We must all put our hands on deck to reposition the party and as well win all elections. This is achievable in Anambra being that we have both human and material resources needed. As a new family , we are poised to galvanised and harness our diverse potentials and resources to put our party in the political position in our dear state , Anambra ” he said.
According to him, Anambra state has benefited from the APC led federal government in both human and material resources.
“The onerous task of leading the people of Anambra state into mainstream politics of Nigeria must be accomplished ” he said
