    Coronavirus kills 2016 patients in the US as surges continue

    LAGOS, Nigeria –  There are now 322, 258, 983 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic worldwide, 5, 526, 246 patients are no more, while 9, 579, 412,562 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

    According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 64, 543,154  total cases of Coronavirus pandemic, while 848, 074 patients could not make it alive(712, 353 new and 2016 deaths#), followed by India, which has documented 36,582,129  all time infections, while 485,350 lives have perished(264, 202 new and 315 deaths#) and Brazil, with 22, 822, 177  all time cases, while 620, 830 lives are no more(97, 945 new and 189 deaths#).

    The United Kingdom remains the 4th country most hit, now reporting 15, 163, 642 total cases of infections and 152, 103 deaths(99, 457 new and 272 deaths#), followed by France, which has documented 13,680, 775 total cases and 127,711 deaths(332, 659 new and 192 deaths#) and  Russia, which has registered 10, 565, 484 confirmations, while 313,458 others could not make it alive(23, 614 new and 725 deaths#) .

    Turkey is the 7th country most hit  with 10, 273, 170 all time infections, while 84, 278 patients have perished(75, 564 new and 153 deaths#), followed by Italy with 8, 356, 514 all time infections, while 140, 548 patients have perished(200,869 new and 360 deaths#)  and Germany, which has documented 7, 879, 354 all time cases, while 115,382 patients are no  more(74, 193 new and 210 deaths#).

    Spain remains the 10th country most affected, reporting 8,093, 036 total cases of infections, while 90, 759 patients have passed on(162, 508 new 139 deaths#) and South Africa, the most hit African country. South Africa has reported 3,552,043 total cases of Coronavirus, while 93, 117 patients  could not make it alive(5235 new and 128 deaths#) .
