Coronavirus: Nigeria reports 1139 cases 2 deaths
LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 1139 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic in the country, bringing all time cases to 241, 513.
But out of the 241, 513 total cases, 214, 003 patients have been treated and discharged, while 3, 030 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 24, 480 active cases of Coronavirus, while 2 patients died in the last 24 hours.

There are now 286,678,274 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic worldwide, 5,432,478 patients have passed on, while 9, 139, 183,705 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.
According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 54, 253, 719 confirmed cases, while 824,343 other patients could not make it alive, followed by India, which has reported 34, 838, 804 total cases and 481, 080 deaths and Brazil, now reporting 22, 281,649 total cases of infections, while 614, 249 patients are already dead.
The United Kingdom remains the 4th country most hit, reporting 12, 820,853 all time cases, while 148,893 others patients have perished, followed by Russia with 10, 320, 405 total cases and 302, 671 deaths and France which has documented 9, 845, 583 total cases of infections and 124, 540 deaths.
Turkey has come down as the 7th country most hit with 9, 443,734 total cases, and 82, 198 deaths, followed by Germany with 7, 154, 046 all time infections, while 111, 935 patients have perished and Spain, now with 6, 294,745 total infections, while 89, 405 patients are no more.
Iran is now the 10th country most hit with 6, 194,401 all time cases, while 131, 606 patients could not make it alive and South Africa, the most afflicted African country.
South Africa has reported 3, 446,532 total cases of infections, while 91, 061 patients could not make it alive.
