KIEV – The Russian Army has targeted the training centre of the Ukraine Army in Poltava, killing not less than 50 soldiers.
Many of the soldiers were wounded and have been taken to hospitals for medical attention, while rescue operation continue.
Eyewitnesses say the death toll may rise. Among those killed and wounded are mercenaries.
Meanwhile President Volodymyr Zelenskky has said over 50 people were killed and 219 injured.
Zelenskky has vowed he will retaliate. He has called for supply of more patriot air defense system to be able to protect Kiev as Russia’s glide bombs continue to hit the capital.
He also called for permission to use US made weapons to strike deep into Russia.
