Anambra South APC congratulates Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu on his victory in the primaries

AWKA, Nigeria – The All Progressives Congress (APC), Anambra South Senatorial District, has congratulated Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu (Ikuku Oma) on his resounding victory during the party’s gubernatorial primaries held on Saturday.

In a statement signed by the Vice Chairman of Anambra South APC, Chief Izuchukwu Okeke, the emergence of Ukachukwu as the party’s gubernatorial candidate is seen as a positive development for the party.

Chief Okeke noted that Ukachukwu’s victory was hard-earned and well-deserved, and called for unity among all aspirants to support him in ensuring the party’s triumph in the upcoming November 8 election.

He also extended the deepest appreciation of the Anambra South APC to the entire members and delegates for returning the candidacy to the Anambra South Senatorial District.

The Vice Chairman also praised the Primary Election Committee, led by His Excellency Bassey Otu, for its transparency and fairness in the conduct of the primaries.

He commended the committee for restoring internal democracy to the Anambra State APC.

“We urge President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the National Working Committee (NWC) of our party to provide Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu with all the necessary support to successfully navigate this journey to the Government House in Awka.

“We also call on our fellow aspirants to unite with Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu to ensure the party’s victory in the forthcoming election” he stated.

He further appealed to the National Leadership of APC to recognize the November gubernatorial election as a significant opportunity to seize power in Anambra State and set the stage for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second term.

“To our candidate, your victory is a testament to your consistency in building political capacity and structure over the years. It is also a clear indication that you are a true grassroots politician, who has nurtured your political machinery since 1999, continuously strengthening your presence in the political arena for the past twenty-six years,” he said.

He added that the victory reaffirmed Ukachukwu’s political wisdom, with the candidate widely respected across various political parties.

“We assure our esteemed gubernatorial candidate, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, of our unwavering support as he embarks on the journey to the Government House in Awka for the November 8, 2025 election. We urge all party members to rally behind ‘The Wind of Glory’ as we march towards victory.”
