Maradona: 7 medical doctors on trial over death

 

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina – At least seven medical professionals who were in charge of providing healthcare for the late soccer icon, Diego Maradona are now on trial in Buenos Aires, Argentina

The family of the soccer icon filed the suit accusing the medical professionals of providing reckless medical intervention after his surgery.

Maradona was operated upon successfully by a team of medical doctors for blood clot in his brain.

He was moved into a private apartment after the surgery where he died.

The family believes the medical professionals who attended to him after the surgery were reckless hence the footballer died.

Supporters of Maradona have stormed the streets in Buenos Aires calling for justice for Maradona.
