Inspired during a personal worship session in 2022, Receive My Praise draws from scripture to amplify the message of God’s sovereignty. “From the very first line, the song echoes Psalm 113:3, which declares, ‘From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised.’ The pre-chorus also resonates with Philippians 2:9-11, reinforcing the supremacy of Jesus,” GB Kharisma shares.

GB Kharisma reflects on his musical journey, which began at the age of 4 when he joined the Children’s Choir at The Agodi Baptist Church in Ibadan. He has since released over ten songs, including the acclaimed Hallelujah.
