Within the 25 years of existence, NDDC rehabilitated solar-powered water project at Umuebulungwu-Ozari in Ukwu East LGA in Abia State

PORT HARCOURT, Nigeria- The Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC is working round the clock to satisfy the needs and aspirations of the people of the Niger Delta region in line with the mandate of the commission and within available resources.
In the past 25 years it has touched virtually every area in the Niger Delta region with projects that elevated the standard of living among residents.
One of such projects is the solar-powered water project in Umuebulungwu-Ozari in Ukwu East Local Government Area in Abia State.
This project is part of NDDC’s initiatives to ensure that every resident has access to portable water leveraging on renewable energy sources like solar power.
