WASHINGTON, United States – President of the United States, Donald Trump seems to have backtracked on his initial comment on owning the Gaza Strip and turning it into a Reviera in the Middle East.
Trump who spoke on Fox News following rejection of his plan by the Arabs, including Jordan and Egypt said what he said was nothing but a recommendation adding that he would not impose it.
Trump said his plan would have included the United States availing funds in billions each year to Egypt and Jordan to rebuild Gaza and wondered why they refused to welcome his proposal.
Trump who also spoke on the annoyance of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over his discovery that Shiri Bibas body was not in the corpses handed over on Thursday said Netanyahu has a right to be angry.
He also said Hamas is releasing captives that are in good health as a decoy but that generally, the captives were kept in places he likened to concentration camp and that they were in very bad condition.
