RAFAH, Palestine – At least three Palestinian policemen have been killed in airstrikes in Rafah, Southern Gaza.
The policemen were killed at their duty post while securing aid passing through the Karem Abu Salem crossing into the Gaza Strip.
According to local sources, the policemen were about 1.5 kilometers from the buffer zone categorised as a no-go area in the ceasefire.
Despite the ceasefire, the IDF has continued to kill dozens in airstrikes for allegedly entering the buffer zone for security reasons.
The violations, not withstanding, the ceasefire has continued with Israel sending negotiators to Qatar to continue the second phase of the negotiation.
