Lula da Silva: United States a partner in the Gaza genocide

BRAZIL- President of Brazil, Lula da Silva has condemned President Donald Trump of the United States for receiving the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu who currently has an arrest warrant hanging on his neck.

Lula da Silva, who was responding to Trump’s proposal to take over the Gaza Strip warned that what transpired in the Gaza Strip was genocide in which the United States was a willing partner.

He said it is unacceptable for President Trump to with Netanyahu and at the same time agree to the occupation of Gaza and expulsion of its people.

He said only Palestinians can rebuild their homes, hospitals, and schools in the Gaza Strip and live there with dignity.

Brazilian President Lula da Silva states regarding Trump’s remarks:

“What happened in Gaza is a genocide, in which the United States was a partner.

” It is unacceptable for U.S. President Trump to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and agree to the occupation of Gaza and the expulsion of its people.

“Only the Palestinians can rebuild their homes, hospitals, and schools in Gaza and live there with dignity.

“It is the Palestinians’ responsibility to take care of Gaza, and what they need is the reconstruction of everything that has been destroyed”, he said.
