Hamas to Donald Trump: We will treat you like Israel if you take over Gaza

 

GAZA, Palestine – Leader of the Islamic Resistant Movement in Palestine (Hamas) Osama Hamdan has warned President Donald Trump of the United States of the consequences of choosing to occupy and harness Gaza, the hub of the Palestinian resistant, stressing that Hamas will treat the United States the way it is treating the Israelis which it regards as enemies.

The Hamas leader who spoke on Al Jazeera said Palestinians will take decisions for their internal affairs, adding that “whoever wants to replace ‘israel,’ we will treat them as ‘israel’—clearly. Whoever wants to act as an agent for ‘israel’ must bear the consequences of being its agent”, he said adding that the issue of the resistance’s weapons, the resistance’s leaders, the resistance’s people, and relationship with the resistance’s supporters, all of this is outside of any discussion.

” It is impossible for us to accept anyone talking to us about it, and we will not allow it to be brought up at all.

“These are our people and our nation, and for those who talk about the 50,000 martyrs, these might just be numbers to some people. But I’m talking about my family; I’m talking about our wives, our sons, and our daughters.

“There isn’t a single leader in Hamas who hasn’t lost at least half of their family or made sacrifices of this magnitude”, he said adding that the resistance fought at the frontlines.

He said the Palestinian cause will face a series of challenges in the coming period, adding that the West Bank is being targeted, and “we are facing a challenge in the reconstruction of Gaza.

“We have an opportunity to thwart “israel’s” projects, especially displacement and annexation”, he said.

He said that the “israeli” army is currently exhausted, and there is a crisis of confidence in its capabilities.

“Israel” is entering a deep internal crisis, with an attempt to export it to the region.

“The enemy has failed to achieve its goals of ending the resistance, spreading chaos, and displacing Palestinians.

“I say to the region, its only option is resistance”.
