Hamas hands over American-Israeli captive, Keith Siegel to ICRC

GAZA, Palestine – The Islamic Resistant Movement in Gaza, Hamas has handed over American-Israeli captive, Keith Siegel to the International Committee of the Red Cross, ICRC.

He was handed over to the ICRC at the Gaza Port.

Ironically, it is one of the fields commanders of Al-Qassam Brigades that the IDF claimed to have killed that handed over Keith Siegel to the Red Cross.

Confirming the hand over, Spokesman of of the Israeli Defence Forces, IDF, Rear Admiral, Daniel Hagari said returning hostage has Just Been transferred to IDF and ISA Forces in the Gaza Strip

“The returning hostage is currently being accompanied by IDF special forces and ISA forces on his return to Israeli territory, where he will undergo an initial medical assessment.

“The commanders and soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces salute and embrace the returning hostage as he makes his way home to the State of Israel”, he said.

The IDF asked everyone to respect the privacy of the returning hostage and his family.

He added that a short while ago, the returning civilian hostage, Keith Siegel, crossed the border into Israeli territory accompanied by IDF and ISA forces.

“He is currently on his way to an initial reception point in southern Israel, where he will be reunited with members of his family”, the IDF said.
