Hamas exchanges 3 Israeli captives for 183 Palestinian prisoners

GAZA, Palestine – The Islamic Resistant Movement, Hamas in the Gaza Strip today release three additional Israeli captives in exchange for 183 Palestinian prisoners.

The three captives are Ohad Ben Ami, Eli Sharabi and Or Levy.

They were initially handed over to the International Committee of the Red Cross, ICRC in Deir al-Balah in the Gaza Strip.

Confirming the development, the Israeli Defence Forces, IDF said
“the Three Returning Hostages – Ohad Ben-Ami, Or Levy, and Eliyahu Sharabi – Have Arrived at the Initial Reception Point in Southern Israel

“IDF officers from the Personnel Directorate and IDF medical officials are accompanying the returning hostages, and they will undergo an initial medical assessment.

“IDF representatives are accompanying their families waiting at the hospital and updating them with the latest available information”, the IDF said adding Ohad Ben Ami and Eli Sharabi were both taken from kibbutz Be’eri during the Hamas-led attack on 7 October 2023, while Or Levy was taken that same day from the Nova music festival.

The IDF statement added that the returning hostages Ohad Ben-Ami and Eliyahu Sharabi are currently making their way on Israeli Air Force helicopters to the hospital along with members of their family.

“At the hospital, they will be reunited with other members of their families and will receive medical treatment”, the IDF said.
