GAZA, Palestine – There is high expectation in Gaza ahead of what promises to be the largest prisoners exchange between the Islamic Resistant Movement, Hamas and Israel.
Already, Hamas has said it is releasing six Israeli captives on Saturday.
In exchange for the six, the Israelis will release approximately 800 prisoners.
About 445 prisoners who were imprisoned during the Al-Aqsa Flood will be released.
Others include 51 who are currently serving life sentences and another 59 with high sentences.
Also included are 47 prisoners who were rearrested after they were released in Shalit deal.
There are also 200 women and children who were abducted during the war in Gaza exchange for dead bodies of captives due for release on Thursday.
The deal will also see the release of several senior commanders of the Al-Qassam Brigades in the West Bank like Abdel Nasser Issa, Othman Bilal, and Ammar Al-Zaben, along with other key figures.
Also to be released is Nael Barghouti (44 years), Alaa Al-Bazian (42 years), and Samer Al-Mahroom (38 years) in “israeli” prisons.
