12 killed in Gaza as total death toll hits 47,552

 

GAZA, Palestine – It appears the death toll in the Gaza Strip will continue for a long time as twelve additional casualties were recorded in the last 24 hours bringing total death toll since October 7, 2023 to 47,552 as Israeli Defence Forces IDF continue bombardment of Jenin.

Total injuries also increased to 111,629 since the outset of the war.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, eight people out of the 12 were retrieved from the rubble, while four died from injuries.

“A number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and the ambulance and civil defense teams are unable to reach them”, the ministry said.

“The toll of the “israeli” aggression has risen to 47,552 martyrs and 111,629 injuries since the 7th of October 2023″.
