What we found after searching Iranian planes – Lebanese minister

LEBANON – Minister of Interior in Lebanon, Bassam Mawlawi has disclosed what was found aboard two Iranian planes that landed at the Lebanese International Airport in Beirut.

He said two bags were found after searching the aircrafts adding that the two Iranian bags had documents and some cash meant for the Iranian embassy in Lebanon.

He said his men will continue to thoroughly search everyone including diplomats.

He added  that all aircrafts will be searched irrespective of countries of origin and that such regular search is lawful and should be the usual procedure.

“However we are all well aware how everyone was treated yesterday and signalling out it seriousness”.
