Hamas: The resistant exposed the occupation as the root of all evil

GAZA, Palestine – The Islamic Resistant in Gaza, Hamas has described that the occupation in Gaza as the root of all evil.

Spokesman of Al-Qassam Brigade, an arm of Hamas, Abu Obeida made the remarks in a video address shortly after the release of three Israeli captives in Gaza.

He said the resistant succeeded in exposing the might of Israel with an invisible army.

He said Hamas fought on ethical lines and ensured good treatment of the captives adding that while Hamas was ethical, the Israeli Defence Forces, IDF embarked on genocide killing innocent Palestinians, including women and children.

To date almost 47,000 Palestinians were killed, a quarter women and children.

He said the global community will continue to hunt not only Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his cabinet but the rest of the Israeli army who participated in the genocide committed in Gaza.

He spoke further: “471 days since the historic Battle of the Flood of Al-Aqsa, which hammered the final nail into the coffin of the undoubtedly vanishing occupation. The great sacrifices and blood shed by our people will not go in vain

“Our people have made unprecedented sacrifices for their freedom and sanctities over 471 days

“The resistance in Gaza has presented a unique model of the ability of the owners of the land to take effective action and stand firm.

“The Battle of the Flood of Al-Aqsa began from the outskirts of Gaza, but it changed the face of the region and introduced new equations in the conflict with the entity.

“We created a historic epic that has no equal in the world, greetings to you, our people in Gaza, you crowns of heads, you who rose up like a mu’tasim for the sake of Jerusalem and the land.

“We fought with all the resistance factions as one line in every place in the Gaza Strip and we dealt fatal blows to the enemy.

“Our Mujahideen fought with great valor and courage until the last hours of the battle and we are fighting in conditions that seem impossible

“We were facing an unequal confrontation neither in terms of combat capabilities nor in terms of combat ethics.

“While we are directing our strikes at the enemy forces, they have committed new methods of brutality and atrocity against our people.

“The manifestations of the greatness of this battle are evident in the progress of its leaders to the convoys of martyrs, headed by Haniyeh, Al-Arouri and Al-Sinwar.

“This criminal enemy is the root of the calamity in this region and all efforts and plans must be focused on how to contain it.

“Today the responsibility on our people in the West Bank is increasing and a special salute to Jenin, the soul sister of Gaza in heroism and steadfastness.

“Reaching an agreement to stop the Zionist aggression against our people has been a goal of ours for many months and even since the beginning of the aggression.

“We and the resistance factions declare our full commitment to the ceasefire agreement while stressing that all of this is contingent on the enemy’s commitment.

“We extend special thanks to our brothers in Ansar Allah and our comrades in arms in Hezbollah who paid a heavy price in our battle.

“We extend our greetings to the Islamic Resistance in Iraq and our brothers in Jordan who crossed the borders with the occupier.

“We feel the great pain that our people are suffering and it is the price for liberating the land, the people and the holy sites”, he said.
