Speaking on their martyrdom, Spokesman of the Al-Qassam Brigade, Abu Obeida said

“All these great men were martyred, advancing and not retreating, in the midst of the Battle of the Flood of Al-Aqsa, in places of honor, heroism and giving, between thek command operationsk rooms or direct clashes with enemy forces in the field, or in the event of inspecting the ranks of the Mujahideen and organizing the course of the battle and managing the fighting.

“Our martyred leaders achieved their desire by martyrdom in the way of Allah, which is the ultimate wish as a blessed conclusion to their lives filled with work in the way of Allah, then in the way of their freedom, their sanctities and their land.

“They were martyred to sign with their pure blood the truth of their belonging and sacrifice, declaring that their blood is not more precious to them than the blood of any Palestinian child on this land, so they believed in Allah and He believed in them, and we do not vouch for anyone before Allah.

“These great martyr leaders were martyred when they fought for their religion and their homeland and were killed for that in the greatest battle our people have ever known in their history, and for the holiest cause on earth, and at the hands of the most despicable and hated of God’s creation and His servants.

“They were victorious when they inspired millions of our people and our nation to carry the banner with them and after them, God willing.

“Our martyrs were victorious when they handed over the banner to unique and strong leaders, their comrades in arms who do not know defeat by the power of God.

“These martyred mujahid leaders have passed away after a great life of jihad, in which they fought heroic battles, inflicted heavy losses on our enemy, and put its feet on the path of annihilation and defeat.

“This is what befits our leader Muhammad al-Daif (Abu Khalid), who has exhausted the enemy for more than 30 years. How, by God, can Muhammad al-Daif be mentioned in history without the title of martyr and the medal of martyrdom in the path of God?

“How could Marwan Issa, the mind and strong pillar of Al-Qassam, die in bed? And how could Abu Musa, the wise man of the Mujahideen and the unique leader, and Raed Thabet, the towering mountain, not offer their lives cheaply for the sake of Al-Aqsa?

“How could the leaders of our heroic brigades, Ahmed Al-Ghandour, Ayman Noufal and Rafeh Salama, not lead the ranks of thousands of martyred Mujahideen from among their sons and brothers, and sacrifice their blood after they planted the poisoned dagger in the heart of the enemy in the flood of Al-Aqsa?

“Blessings to you, our martyred leaders, and to your families, and to your children, and to the people who gave birth to you and embraced you, and rallied around you during your life, and will continue on your blessed path after your departure until they achieve what you aspired to, what you went out for, and what you fought for.

“Good news for you, our leaders, and for all the martyrs of our people, and those who were killed in the way of Allah, He will not let their deeds go astray, He will guide them, and reform their hearts, and admit them into the paradise that He has made known to them.

“The martyrdom of our great leaders, despite our great loss, did not and will not weaken the resolve of our battalions and our resistance, thanks to Allah Almighty and His help, for this is a finished matter and there is no dispute about it.

“After the martyrdom of each of them throughout this battle, the resolve of our Mujahideen only increased by the grace of Allah, and the battles became more fierce and intense, and the Mujahideen fought more valiantly, and inflicted more and more damage on the enemy, and their motivation to fight increased in an unprecedented way, witnessed by the whole world, and they are still committed to the covenant and the oath.
