9 dead in exchange of fire between Israel and Yemeni forces

 

YEMEN – The Yemeni Armed Forces. YAF has confirmed launching multiple ballistic hypersonic missiles at Israel in continuation of their support for Palestine.

They launched the attacks 48 hours after attacking American aircraft carrier in the Red Sea.

The missiles, according to the Yemeni hit the intended targets in Tel Aviv and that they were launched immediately the Israeli Defence Forces, IDF launched attacks on Yemen, hitting strategic sites across the State which led to the death of nine people.

In a statement, IDF Spokesman, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said overnight (Thursday), a missile was fired from Yemen toward Israeli territory.

” Following an initial inquiry by the IAF, and an examination of the findings at the scene of impact at a school in Ramat Efal in central Israel, it is likely that the damage was caused by partial interception of the missile launched from Yemen and that the missile warhead was the part that exploded and damaged the school”, he said.

The Yemeni attack occurred in the night and there was no casualty but the school in the above picture was severely damaged.

IDF Spokesman said security forces are looking into damage caused by falling shrapnel in additional areas.

“The IAF and the Home Front Command are investigating the matter. Once the investigation is complete, the findings will be made available to the public”, he said.
