Trump names William Joseph McGinley, White House Counsel, Kristi Noem secretary Homeland Security

FLORIDA – President-elect, Donald Trump has named William Joseph McGinley as White House Counsel and former governor and congressman Kristi Noem as Secretary, Homeland Security.
In a statement announcing the appointment, Trump said McGinley is a smart and tenacious lawyer that will help to advance his America First Agenda, while fighting for election integrity and against weaponisation of law enforcement.
He said McGinley served as White House Cabinet Secretary in his first term and played a major role in his election victory as the RNC Outside Counsel for Election Integrity.
He said Bill has served as General Counsel at the National Republican Senatorial Committee and a partner of two international law firms.
Writing on Noem, Trump said Kristi Noem has been very strong on border security. He said the South Dakota woman was the first governor to send National Guard soldiers to help Texas fight the Biden border crisis.
“She will work closely with Border Czar, Tom Homan to secure the border and will guarantee that our American Homeland is secured from our adversaries.
Trump said he has worked with Ksriti for years on a wide variety of projects.
Reacting to the selection, Hoem said; “ I am honoured and humbled that President Donald J Trump has selected me to be the Secretary Homeland Security.
“I look forward to working with Border Czar, Tom Haman to make America SAFE Again”, she added that with Donald Trump, “ we will secure the border and restore safety to American communities so that families will again have the opportunity to pursue the American Dream”.
