BERLIN – Sales climbed based on pricing and international expansion in the first three quarters of the year for German eyewear company Fielmann Group AG compared to the same period of the previous year.
Fielmann on Friday also reaffirmed its annual sales outlook.
For the first nine-month period of the year, the Group registered adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of €379 million ($412 million), higher than €336 million, recorded for the same period last year.

The group’s US acquisitions contributed €127 million, higher than the prior year’s €9 million. On an as-if basis, the US business grew 8% over last year.
Looking ahead, for the full year, the group still expects sales of around €2.3 billion, including the consolidation of six months of Shopko Optical’s results.
