IMO, Nigeria – Imo House member, Hon. Chike Okafor, Ph.D., representating Ehime Mbano, Ihitte Uboma, and Obowo, has expressed his deep sorrow over the passing of Honorable Justice Emmanuel Obioma Ogwuegbu, a respected former Supreme Court justice and native of Ihitte Uboma.

In a heartfelt message, Okafor celebrated Justice Ogwuegbu’s distinguished career and dedication to justice, describing him as a symbol of integrity and fairness in Nigeria’s judiciary.

“Justice Ogwuegbu’s rulings were marked by wisdom, compassion, and a deep commitment to truth,” Okafor stated. “His influence extended beyond the bench as a mentor who inspired young lawyers to pursue justice with the highest standards.”
