Netanyahu seeks increased security measures after Hezbollah drone attacks
TEL AVIV – Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his family have requested increased security measures following the Hezbollah drone attacks on his residence in Caesarea.
Netanyahu raised the alarm on Monday when Hezbollah launched series of drone attacks on his residence, saying that Iran and its proxy Hezbollah want to assassinate him and his wife.
But following the unsuccessful attacks which pushed the first family into their bunker, there are indications that Netanyahu has ordered a beef up on his personal and family security.
According to the Middle East Spectator, the first family requested enhanced protection from the Shin Bet service, activation of GPS jamming service and a strengthened interception system with 24/7 radar coverage against any potential threats.
Netanyahu in addition requested a well secured alternative residence until renovation of his damaged residence in Caesarea is completed.
