Israel kills 28, mostly Palestinian children in airstrikes on Jabalia Refugee camp

GAZA, Palestine- The Israeli Defence Forces, IDF has killed at least 28 Palestinians, majority children when it launched airstrikes in Jabalia Refugee camp.

Majority of those killed were children and women who were sheltering in the camp.

The Jabalia Refugee this camp is located in northern Gaza.

Those in the camp have been living under siege without food, water and medicinefor 13 days.

In a statement, IDF confirmed that troops of the 401st Brigade are operating in the Jabaliya area in the northern part of the Gaza Strip as part of the 162nd Division’s operation.

“So far, dozens of terrorists have been eliminated in precise airstrikes by IAF aircraft and in close-quarters combat, and numerous weapons and buildings where the enemy had barricaded for terrorist activities have been dismantled.

“As part of the operation, the soldiers discovered dozens of weapons, explosives, ammunition, explosive bricks, and mortars in a school located in a civilian area.

“Additionally, in one of the classrooms, a chalkboard was found, which had been used by the terrorists, with Arabic statements praising the October 7th massacre”, IDF said.
