IRAN – The Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has arrested twelve people who alleged to be collaborating with the Israeli government against the interest of Iran.
According to the Revolutionary Guard, the twelve suspects were arrested in six provinces, the FARS news agency has reported.
The Revolutionary Guard the statement did not give any detail but insisted that the suspects were “planning to take action against the security” of Iran.
Recall that the Political Bureau Chief of the Palestinian Resistant Movement, Hamas, Mr. Ismail Haniyeh was assassinated with his bodyguards by Israel when he visited Iran to attend the inauguration of President Masoud Pezeshkian of Iran.
Some revolutionary guard implicated during investigation have also been arrested by the Iranian government.
Iran had vowed to retaliate Israel for killing a guest of Iran on Iranian soil, a guest who visited for inauguration of the President.
However, months have passed, nothing has happened but there are speculation that Iran may have shelved the idea following the visit of Iranian delegation to Washington few weeks ago.
