Suspect detained as Trump survives another assassination attempt

FLORIDA – Presidential candidate of the Republican party and former President of the United States, Donald Trump has survived another assassination attempt on his life, the second in two months.
But unlike the first attempt in Pennsylvania, where the suspect was killed on the spot, this second attempt occurred at his Florida Golf Course.
The suspect, who has not been named has been detained by the police.
According to initial reports, the suspect who positioned himself with his rifle in the bushy path tried to target Trump when the Secret Service agents in his convoy opened fire on him at West Palm Beach.
Authorities in the United States say the suspect pointed a rifle through the fence.
Items found at the scene include telescope, backpacks and a GoPro.
Trump was reported to be between 300-500 yards away when the assailant opened fire.
