YEMEN – The Yemeni Armed Forces has announced targeting Blue Lagoon in the Red Sea as part of operation to force Israel to stop the ongoing genocidal war it is waging  in Gaza.

In a statement, the Yemeni Armed Forces said it targeted the ship (BLUE LAGOON I) in the Red Sea, with a number of appropriate missiles and drones, and that it was directly hit.

The statement added that the ship was targeted owing to violation of ban decision of access to the ports of occupied Palestine by the company that owns the ship.

“The operation was jointly carried out by the missile, UAV, and the naval forces”, the Yemenis said.

The Yemenis have repeatedly warned that attacks on ships affiliated to Israel and its allies will continuously be targeted on the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden and surrounding area until Israel stops the genocide in Gaza.

So far it has targeted a number of ships including those ladden with crude oil.

Penultimate week, the Yemeni hit Sounion, an oil tanker which burst into flames and burnt for day until they allowed owners to have access to retrieve the content to avoid extensive pollution to aquatic creatures.
