Ex BBC show host Huw Edwards bags suspended sentence for sourcing explicit images of children under abuse

LONDON – Former BBC show host Huw Edwards has been given a six months suspended sentence after he admitted playing a paedophile to source explicit images of children under abuse.
He was sentenced at Westminster Magistrates court following plea from his lawyer that the former show host showed proclivity for children under abuse partly due to his mental health issue exacerbated by trauma suffered during the pandemic.
Alex Williams has been convicted for related offences.
Alex Williams, the court was told got paid to send him indecent images of children as young as seven who were being abused.
