Pan African University, PAU announces second media roundtable

LAGOS, Nigeria – The Pan-Atlantic University (PAU)  has announced the second edition of its Media Roundtable, taking place on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at 11:00 AM on the Lekki Campus (Lagos Business School).

This year’s theme, Beyond Critique: The Importance of Constructive Media Engagement in Governance and Nation-Building, promises a stimulating discussion on the media’s crucial role in shaping a better society, the organizers have said.

The roundtable will feature a distinguished panel of media experts and opinion leaders, including:

Magnus Onyibe, Fisayo Soyombo, Seun Okinbaloye, Ayo Mairo Ese, Sheriff Quadry and Maryann Duke-Okon

This event will explore the vital role the  media plays in holding leadership accountable, fostering informed discourse, and promoting positive change.

Panelists will delve into the importance of constructive media engagement, moving beyond mere critique to propose solutions and contribute to nation-building.

PAU invites media representatives, academics, and policymakers to participate in this insightful and timely discussion.
