LEBANON – A senior Hezbollah leader, Commander Muhammad Ni’mah Nasser better known as Hajj Abu Nimah has been assassinated by the Israeli Defence Forces, IDF
Hajj Abu Nimah is the third senior Hezbollah leader to be assassinated since October 7th when Israel invaded Gaza following surprise attack on Israel by Hamas which led to death of 1, 139 Israelis.
Israel has however killed over 68,000 Palestinians, among them over 17, 000 children, with several thousands declared missing.
Hajj Abu Nimah was commander of the Aziz Unit. He was killed in the Northern border of Lebanon with Israel.
Born June 5, 1965 in Hadatha, South Lebanon, he joined the ranks of the Islamic Resistance in 1986.
He has participated in numerous military operations against “israeli” army sites during the “israeli” occupation of South Lebanon, where he was injured multiple times.
He took over responsibilities within the formations of the Islamic Resistance, and participated in the heroic defense against the “israeli” aggression on Lebanon in July 2006.
He fought against terrorist organizations in Iraq and Syria from 2011 to 2016, where he was injured in the battles of the Eastern Chain in 2015.
After the martyrdom of Commander Hassan Mohammed Al-Hajj “Hajj Abu Mohammed al-Iqlim” in 2016, Hajj Abu Ni’ma took over the responsibility of the Aziz Unit.
He also planned, led, and supervised numerous military operations against sites, installations, bases, and deployment points of the “israelis” in northern occupied Palestine during Al-Aqsa Flood operations.
He received commendations from His Eminence, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, several times.
He was assassinated by the “israeli” forces along with his companion on Wednesday, 03-07-2024, in Al-Housh area in South Lebanon.
Hezbollah has retaliated, lunching over 100 rockets into the Kiryat Shmona, Galilee Panhandle and the occupied Golan Heights.
