Gaza: Iran imposes sanctions on American, British figures
TEHRAN – The Islamic Republic of Iran has imposed sanctions on American and British interest and personality for supporting ongoing genocidal war in Gaza through continuous supply of arms to Israel.
In a statement, Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the sanctions were imposed on American and British figures for supporting the “israeli” occupation entity, based on the principle of reciprocal action.
Recall that the United States and Britain recently imposed sanctions on Iran for attacking Israel in retaliation for attack on its consulate in Damascus which led to death of 14 people including 7 senior commanders of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, IRGC.

“Sanctions encompass 7 American political and military figures, among them the commander of the U.S. Army Special Service Operations Forces.
“The sanctions also cover the commander of the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet, Brad Cooper, due to his role in the war on Gaza.
“Sanctions have been imposed on 5 institutions and 8 members of the British regime due to their role in the war on Gaza.
“The sanctions include the British Defense Minister, Grant Shapps, and the British Army’s Commander of Strategic Command, James Hockenhull.
“The sanctions include the head of British Military Intelligence, Adrian Bird, and the Deputy Chief of Staff of the British military, Sharon Nesmith”, the statement added.
