WASHINGTON – The United States has imposed sanctions on Hamas and Hezbollah operatives in charge of Cyber and Unmanned Aeriel Vehicles, UAV unit.

Operatives of ‘terrorist’ group Hamas have used information warfare and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) to facilitate terrorist violence across multiple fronts.
The Department said in coordination with its international partners, the United States is taking action against Hamas by targeting four Gaza- and Lebanon-based leaders of the group’s cyber and UAV operations.
It added that the United States will continue to target Hamas’s destabilizing attempts to launch terrorist attacks, as well as to disrupt Hamas terrorists wherever they operate, including across cyberspace.
It noted that the Department of State websites that go to other non-Department websites should not be construed as an endorsement of the views or privacy policies contained therein.
