Hamas leader meets Khamenei, Supreme leader of Iran

TEHRAN – Ismail Haniyeh, the Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas has met with Sayyed Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran in Tehran.
The meeting came 24 hours after the United Nations Security Council, UNSC unanimously passed a resolution demanding for immediate and lasting ceasefire in Gaza.
During the meeting, Khamenei said the historical patience of the people of Gaza in the face of the brutal zionist crimes supported by the West is unparalleled.
“The historic patience of the people of Gaza in the face of Western-backed zionist brutality has granted Islam dignity and made Palestine the foremost cause globally.”
He said the Islamic Republic will never hesitate or falter in supporting Palestine and its oppressed and resistant people.”
Responding, Haniyeh thank the Islamic Republic of Iran and appreciate its role in supporting the Palestinian cause.
According to him, the patience of the people of Gaza and the struggle of the resistance over the past six months have prevented Israel from achieving any of its goals.
“The Al-Aqsa Flood shattered the myth of the invincible ‘israeli’ army.
“The aggression on Gaza is global, with America as a primary partner”, he said.
He explained that the people of Gaza and the power of resistance will not allow the enemy to achieve an iota of its goals despite all the brutality and massacres.
